Bentley Advanced Map Finishing can encode characters for PostScript output. With the European extended font library, most of the encoded characters display on screen. Characters can be entered using the \nnn method. However, as MicroStation maps many characters keyed to the CodePage 850 system, most national keyboards provide the required result. The ALTnnn method can still be used.
